fontenelle world info.
character name & canon. Astrid Hofferson, How to Train Your Dragon
canon point. Some time during the first season of the TV show. It doesn't matter at all personality-wise, but I'd kind of like to be flexible about what memories she'll be able to get back if that's okay.
fontenelle name. Alfrida Holtsomeone please give this girl a nickname
place of residence. Eastern Fontenelle Housing Division
occupation or title. N/A
fontenelle history.
Family
Alfrida's family originally hails from Norway, though she and her parents were born in the... Canada-ish place where Fontenelle is located. Alfrida very much considers herself a Fontenelle native and has few attachments to her heritage (for the time being.)
Alfrida's parents are pretty average people. Her mother Ursula used to be a nurse but now stays at home, and her father Nicholas is an editor. Her great aunt Gudfrid, on the other hand, is a little crazy and obsessed with "The Old World". She also thinks the earth is flat for some reason?? It's pretty embarrassing....
History and Personality
Being a very competitive person and placing a lot of importance on physical strength, Alfrida is a member of her high school's wrestling team. She wins. A lot.
She's kind of aggressive outside of wrestling as well, meaning that she is not afraid to throw a punch at someone who really, really deserves it, but that happens rarely because she's not the kind to start trouble herself and she is choosy about her battles. Most of the time she'd rather not get involved in other people's affairs, preferring to let fools be fools and learn from their own mistakes, and as a result has a reputation for being a little cold. And maybe a little scary?? It probably doesn't help that even her way of showing affection is more likely to be a punch in the arm than a hug.... That said, if she does consider someone a friend she will let herself get involved in their life and problems, giving them an encouraging (if sometimes sharp) nudge in what she considers to be the right direction if they are having troubles.
She likes her independence so as soon as she turned fifteen she got a permit for her moped. It is her most treasured item and she takes excellent care of it.
History-wise, she's young (just turned sixteen) and her life has been pretty average. Her family has lived in Fontenelle since before she was born and she considers it her home.
Predetermined CR
Ari Ingvarson: Schoolmates! Who know each other! Somehow-!shut up, we planned this very thoroughly, as you can see
Alexander Kingston: Jackass neighbor who tries to peek through her window or something. Alfrida is Not Interested.
